On January 9th at 3:00 PM, Prof. Ben L. Feringa — Nobel Laureate in Chemistry — will give a lecture titled “The Art of Building Small” in the main auditorium of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw.

Prof. Feringa received the 2016 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, shared with Prof. Jean-Pierre Sauvage and Prof. Fraser Stoddart, for the design and synthesis of molecular machines — a groundbreaking contribution that defined a new era in molecular nanotechnology. He is also the PhD supervisor of Dr. Wojciech Danowski, a member of our laboratory, which makes this event especially meaningful for our community.
