On September 30, the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw celebrated the inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year, an event that also marked the beginning of the Faculty’s 70th Anniversary celebrations. In the Aula named after Wojciech Świętosławski, newly admitted students took their matriculation oath in the presence of the Faculty authorities, invited guests, academics, and students.
A highlight of the ceremony was the lecture titled “I am a hardened robot, remotely [light-]controlled!” presented by Dr. Wojciech Danowski – a member of our research group. His talk intertwined references to the works of Stanisław Lem with insights into the fascinating world of molecular machines.
