New member of our research group! NAWA – Polish Returns

Polish Returns stands as one of NAWA’s flagship initiatives, facilitating the return of exceptional Polish scientists who have honed their expertise abroad, enabling them to pursue their research endeavors within domestic universities and research institutes. Among these recipients is Dr Eng. Wojciech Danowski, who is returning to his homeland to spearhead a project focusing on switches, molecular machines, and porous materials titled:

Porous Organic Crystals in the Spotlight – Development and Applications“.

Dr Eng. Danowski attained his PhD under the mentorship of Professor Ben L. Feringa, a Nobel Prize laureate, at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (The Netherlands). Subsequently, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institut de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaires (Université de Strasbourg) under the guidance of Professor Paolo Samori.

Dr. Eng. Wojciech Danowski will be joining our Research Group from June 3.
